About your accomodation
Our shepherd's hut is a colorful tiny house on wheels, from where you can enjoy your personal comfortable nature experience in the heart of Croatia.
The king size bed can be converted into benches.The small table and 2 seats on the side can be used as an additional single bed for a third person if needed.The curtains and shutters allow you to completely darken the caravan, so you can easily sleep in and start the day well rested.
The shepherd's hut has its own kitchenette with pots, pans and two gas burners for cooking.There is a sink with 15 litre canister for water...

Activities
Bogata Šuma has an almost completely edible landscape. There is a half hour walk around the edges of the site, and 5km and 10km (forest edge) hikes around. There are also nice forest hikes possible around Petrova Gora and to a forgotten Yugoslavian monument (spomenik).
It is possible to get an afternoon introduction to permaculture and see how we bring this in practice. You will get an inspiring tour with many examples of sustainable living...

How to get there
By car: Search "Bogata Suma" in Google Maps.(please do not do this in Apple Maps; some roads have been changed there, so you would end up on the other side of the hill).Alternatively, drive to Knezevic Kosa and you can follow our signs on the road.
By public transport: Take the bus from Karlovac (pronounced as "Karlowatts") to Vojnic (pronounced "Wojneech").Just ask at the bus terminal for the right bus, people will be happy to help you...
