Day 1 - TRAVEL TO SAYARO CLOUD FOREST GLAMPING
A 2h 30 drive from Quito takes you to the village of Atahualpa. The landscape changes from dry vegetation to agricultural land and finally leads you into a primary cloud forest.
After the check in, the hosts welcome you with a delicious lunch. During your stay, you will taste the best locally produced organic food. In the afternoon, you visit the eco-farm and will be introduced to the principles of permaculture...

How to get there
You have to drive to the small village of Atahualpa that is part of the "ruta escondida", it is located around 2h from Quito. From Atahualpa you continue around 30 min more on the main road until the end of a valley where Sayaro Glamping is located. Please note that the property can only be reached by 4WD cars. We can arrange local transport from Atahualpa or Quito to Sayaro at extra cost if necessary.
