Our project celebrates local, organic produce and the warmth of the locals. We empower local farmers and offer travelers deep insights into the island way of life. Our highlights? Eco-cooking classes, gardening workshops and family dinner evenings in the garden. Get to know traditional cuisine, enjoy regional wines and connect with nature during yoga and hikes. Discover the beauty of places like Taormina, Savoca and Forza d'Agro. La Zagara is your gateway to unforgettable Sicilian adventures! Two workshops are included: Learn how to make your own Pasta & Bread and Eco-Printing.

Accommodation

The apartment has 1 double room (with bathroom) and 1 single room (with bathroom). Each room has a TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, balcony. There is also a small terrace with sea view, living room, kitchen and washing machine. Enjoy Sicilian flair, with traditional Italian organic breakfast with delicious croissants, pastries and fresh fruit.

Surroundings

It is not without reason that Sicily is said to have the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Our farm is just a two-minute walk from the beach on Sicily's beautiful east coast. Furci is a small village where you will find everything you need for your vacation. In addition, access to the beach is free and the municipality offers public showers. The beach consists of a mixture of sand and small stones. You can also go hiking in the surrounding area or explore other small villages in the area.

Impact

Your overnight stay supports local farmers and thus organic farming and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Our project offers workshops for local schools to teach more about sustainable & organic farming & lifestyle. In addition, all products are regional & organic.
