You want to be awakened by the sounds of nature and experience adventure? Then Un poco del Chocó-Biological Station & Reserve is just the place for you.
This double room (12m²) is located on the second floor and offers you a breathtaking view over the mountain rainforest. It has a bunk bed with a small mattress (95cm) and a big mattress (140cm) and is accessible by stairs. We are happy to welcome you on weekdays from Monday to Friday!

You can experience a lot with us. Take part in one of our bird tours or go on a forest hike where you can learn more about the local flora and fauna. You can also make trips to the nearby waterfall or just relax in our hammocks and enjoy nature.

How to get there

The biological station Un poco del Chocó is located in the province of Pichincha, a few kilometres north-east of San Miguel de Los Bancos, in the Ayapi region on the Rio Pachijal.Un poco del Chocó can only be reached via the small village of Las Tolas.From there, an 11 km long gravel road leads to Ayapi and the Rio Pachijal (40 minutes drive).At least in the rainy season, the last stretch is only passable with an off-road vehicle.

There is no direct connection to public transportation...
