This is an exclusive boatride that will give you the opportunity to see Sri Lanka as the locals do - off the tourist-path and the commercial tourist-traps while staying at a jungle hideaway. You will get a unique view of the majestic Sigiriya & Pidurangala rocks over the water of the lake. The lake is full of lilies and a lot of bird life as well as beautiful natural jungle around it. The naturalist who will guide you will make your experience all the more interesting by explaining the various flora & fauna as well as folk-tales from the ancient village of Sigiriya in Sri Lanka.

How to get there

DIRECTIONS TO BACK OF BEYOND – PIDURANGALA (Kurulu Uyana) –
• Pass Dambulla and proceed towards Habarana (proceed around 8 km from Dambulla clock tower)
• Turn right at Inamaluwa Junction
• Pass Kimbissa Junction and Sigiriya Police Station
• Turn left onto T.B.Tennekoon Mawatha (this is a carpeted road)
• Continue 5 km along this road
•Soon after the 5 km post, turn right onto a gravel road. There is also a sign for the Pidurangala temple at this turn
• After around 200 m, turn left at T junction...
