Spend a week diving in the Bazaruto Archipelago & live at an active marine research station
This is what your adventure trip looks like
7 Nights in the Bazaruto Archipelago – Diving & Marine Research on Benguerra Island.
Welcome to one of the most extraordinary places in the Indian Ocean. The Bazaruto Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique has been a marine protected area since 1971; it comprises five islands and is home to the last viable population of dugongs in the western Indian Ocean. You’ll spend a week at the Bazaruto Center for Scientific Studies (BCSS) on Benguerra Island—a sustainable, solar-powered research station and Africa’s first permanent ocean observatory, founded by Nina Flohr.
