They are a group of rural families living in the Calchaquí Valleys of Salta, and they are members of a local cooperative offering touristic services.
These families organize and provide tourism services, such as guided tours, local cooking classes, pottery and crafts workshops, horseback riding, and visits to the organic garden and livestock, among other activities, all in a rural setting far from mass tourism.
One of the families lives just 6 km from Cafayate, one of the main destinations in Salta, famous due to its wine production.
They cultivate the land, and you will have the chance to discover the region’s unique farming techniques, as well as a variety of fruits and vegetables. You can also explore locally made artisanal wines crafted by one of the families. Don't miss the opportunity to take one of the possible hikes along the 'Colorado River,' where you'll find a refreshing waterfall to cool off! How to get there
You are responsible for arranging your own travel. The destination airport is San Carlos de Bariloche (BRC) in Argentina. However, we’d be happy to help you with your travel plans.
Cancellation Policy
- A cancellation of this tour is possible at any time.
- If you cancel at least 30 days before the date of travel, there is no cancellation fee.
- If you cancel between 29 and 15 days before the departure date, 20% of the tour price will be charged.
- If the cancellation is made between 14 and 8 days before the departure date, 50% of the tour price will be charged.
- If the cancellation is made between 7 and 1 day before the departure date, 80% of the tour price will be charged.
