About your accomodation

The Homestay is a traditionally built house and is surrounded by farmland, which grows the vegetables for the traditional food that will be served. It has a beautiful view on a stream that flows nearby past the homestay. The house lies not far from the medical centre of the village and is also good accessible as it is situated close to the main road. The family living there there consists of 3 adults and 3 children. There are two beds in every room. It can‘t be said for sure if they will be standing separately or next to each other, but it can be changed as per need at the arrival.

Where you'll be

When arrived in Leh, you will follow the Leh-Manali-Highway which will bring you south-eastwards. The road leads along the Indus-river upstream passing the village Kharu. The next village will be Upshi where you have to turn right and leave the Indus valley by crossing the river.
