The Homestay is a traditionally built house and is surrounded by farmland, which grows the vegetables for the traditional food that will be served.It has a beautiful view on a stream that flows nearby past the homestay.The house lies not far from the medical centre of the village and is also good accessible as it is situated close to the main road.The family living there there consists of 3 adults and 3 children.

When arrived in Leh, you will follow the Leh-Manali-Highway which will bring you south-eastwards.The road leads along the Indus-river upstream passing the village Kharu.The next village will be Upshi where you have to turn right and leave the Indus valley by crossing the river.From then on, you only have to follow the highway until you arrive in Gya...

Zu meiner Zeit konnte ich für 800 rp bleiben. Das Abendessen kostet 100 rp Das Frühstück kostet 50 Rp Es war sehr günstig, voluminös und lecker. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Die Familie mit vier Schwestern war sehr einfach und freundlich. Auch die umliegende Landschaft ist wunderbar. Es ist ideal gelegen für einen Ausflug mit dem Roller von Leh aus über Nacht nach Gompa.

Dieser Ort ist ruhig und wunderschön. Die Besitzerin (Dame) war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Preise waren echt und die Zimmer waren großartig und komfortabel. Das Essen war köstlich und die Preise waren angemessen. Der beste Ort zum Anhalten, wenn Sie in der Nähe von Rumste übernachten möchten.
