About your accomodation
The Homestay is a traditionally built house with only one groundfloor. The house is surrounded by farmland, which grows the vegetables for the traditional food that will be served. It is located close to the nearby passing stream and has has a beautiful view of the landscape and the surroundding mountains. The family living there there consists of 4 adults, out of which one workes as a trekking guide. They also own four cattle. There are two beds in every room. It can‘t be said for sure if they will be standing separately or next to each other, but it can be changed as per need at the arrival.

Where you'll be
When arrived in Leh, you will follow the Leh-Manali-Highway which will bring you south-eastwards. The road leads along the Indus-river upstream passing the village Kharu. The next village will be Upshi where you have to turn right and leave the Indus valley by crossing the river.
