You should arrive in the coastal town of Swakopmund on the Sunday before the start of your volunteer project.
Travel to Swakopmund is straightforward. EHRA will be happy to organize a convenient door-to-door service from the airport directly to your accommodation - easy and safe. You are responsible for the cost of the airport transfer and pay the driver directly.

Where you'll be
Once you have booked your flight, please send us the details and we will organize the transfers for you. When you arrive at one of the two airports, you will be picked up by our transfer service and taken directly to Desert Sky Backpackers in Swakopmund or to the accommodation of your choice. You are responsible for the costs of the airport transfer and accommodation in Swakopmund. The transfer from Walvis Bay Airport to Swakopmund is 280 Namibian dollars each way, while the trip from Windhoek Airport costs 580 Namibian dollars.
