📍 DAY 1: HANOI – MAI CHAU - TE VILLAGE • We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi at 8 AM and travel 160 km southwest to Mai Chau. • Visit Mai Chau market and Lac village, have lunch with a local family.
📍 DAY 2: TE VILLAGE – PU LUONG NATURE RESERVE • After breakfast, trek to Xam Khoe Village. • You’ll have some time to explore and then a vehicle will transport us to a local family’s house for lunch. • Then get in your car and move to Don Village, we will start a 1.5 hour-walking-trip along the road to Don Village where we will start to trek to Hieu Hamlet – the most beautiful and remote hamlet in Pu Luong Nature Reserve, hike on the off-the-beaten-track passing through the beautiful valley of rice terraces and up to mountains for a panoramic view of the region. • Continue trekking up along the captivating waterfall to come to a stilt house for overnight homestay. • Dinner with local specialties and stay overnight in a traditional bungalow of Black Thai with a wonderful window view.
