Hi, I'm Barbara and I’ll be happy to host you during your stay!
We are an eco-friendly and fully self-sufficient farm and agriturismo in the heart of Tuscany. Our farm has 6 hectares of arable land planted with traditional cereals and olives and is located next to 6 hectares of lush woodland.
Here we produce nutritious ancient grains, flour for bread and pasta, jams made from local fruit, Tuscan herbs and salts and the delicious extra virgin olive oil for which our town is famous. We also grow medicinal and aromatic plants, vegetables and fruit and receive fresh eggs from our hens every day.
Podere Montisi is an educational organic farm that aims to teach children and adults the importance of traditional farming methods in order to preserve Tuscan agriculture. This is threatened

How to get there
By car:
If you are coming via the A1 highway, take the Calenzano/Sesto Fiorentino exit.There are several supermarkets near the exit if you want to buy something for your stay.After the toll booth, turn right towards Prato and drive through 3 traffic circles.At the 4th (small) traffic circle you will see a sign saying "Fattoria di Travalle": turn right and follow the signs to "Fattoria di Travalle" (through a small village and then through fields and olive trees - Via dei Prati, about 3 km)...
Cancellation Policy
- A cancellation of this tour is possible at any time.
- If you cancel at least 30 days before the date of travel, there is no cancellation fee.
- If you cancel between 29 and 15 days before the departure date, 20% of the tour price will be charged.
- If the cancellation is made between 14 and 8 days before the departure date, 50% of the tour price will be charged.
- If the cancellation is made between 7 and 1 day before the departure date, 80% of the tour price will be charged.
