The inspiration for this unique apartment came from the original Portuguese name of the land, "Moinho das Canas", which loosely translates as "cane mill". As the name suggests, a lot of cane grows here and we have used this material to furnish this apartment. The use of other natural building materials such as cork, wood and stone gives the apartment a really harmonious feel. The living area consists of a comfortable, custom-made sofa that sits next to a cozy wood-burning stove. A smaller built-in oven allows you to make a fire on cold days and bake a cake if you feel like it. The windows at the front of the apartment offer a magnificent view of the valley and access to a lovely terrace. (more than 30 m²) with an outdoor shower and plenty of space for lounging, sitting or doing yoga.
