If you are coming from the north (Quito, Cotopaxi) or from the South (Guayaquil or Chimborazo), or from the Amazonian region you need to take a taxi or public bus to the Comunidad Huasalata which is settled at the north of Salasaka's town, near/before to La Parroquia El Rosario, it is 7 minutes by car or bus, or 45 minutes walking. The guest house and the hostel and the project workplace are settled in Comunidad Huasalata's principal avenue entrance, next to the Asequia Albornos bridge. The reference is casa de eugenio espejo, "el cieguito".
