We spend four days in the Penduka Village and it's a perfect place to relax from the hustle of Windhoek. The round huts are a very nice accommodation with a perfect view of the lake nearby. You can also rent boats or use the playground or have a BBQ at the lakeside. We did some remote work from there which was perfect from the terrace with a view of the lake. The restaurant serves good food and we learned from the local woman in a painting workshop how to design beautiful souvenirs by ourselves. The woman, who produces a wide range of gifts explained to us how they use local materials and about the empowerment work of Penduka. Kauna was a perfect host and organized pick-up services to go to the city and was always super helpful. Thanks so much for everything and can't wait to see you again.
