We visited Finca La Selvita for one night and had the pleasure of staying in one of the wonderful double rooms with a balcony. The stay at the finca was magical. You are surrounded by nature and feel very connected to it. Polo has taken great care to build the property in a very natural and sustainable way. He has big plans and will expand the finca with more accommodation and communal areas. Polo showed us his world and I was deeply impressed by the passion with which he approaches his project. Make sure you book the chocolate tour with him. Not only will you learn how to make your own chocolate at home, but you will also learn a lot about the history, cultivation and Polo's personal views on chocolate production and distribution. Polo also gave us a tour through his garden and showed us many plants, fruits and flowers that we had never seen before. Also, you shouldn't miss his talent as a chef. A real gourmet! You will become addicted to his delicious food. :) All in all, you really must visit the finca and experience the magic for yourself. It was beautiful and the view from there absolutely marvellous! Highly recommended!

Polo is a Parisian man who has relocated to the Colombian coastside. His property is beautiful, serene and clean! He provides delicious dishes and his cocoa and fruit tour is informative, hands on and soo tasty! I would highly recommend this location for everyone who is searching for a place of peace and recentering with themsleves. He is currently expanding his accomodations to host more guests with the hope to inspire more people about the magical abundance of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. We invite you to visit Polo to be one of the many people to help these dreams become reality.
